Fallen Darkness, by RB Austin

COVER REVEAL!!!
Book 2 in the Trihune Series

Fallen Darkness
The war between Apollyon and the Trihune has begun.

Lucas scours the street in need of a fix. He captures his enemy instead of kills. Spins lies instead of truth. Seeks darkness instead of light. So close to the edge with no concern for the fall.

The map was foretold. Its key long lost.

Sent on a mission to find the key necessary to defeat Apollyon, Lucas meets Kate. Fiery, powerful, unable-to-touch-any-object Kate. As his feelings for her grow, the addiction inside him wanes.

Until he learns she is not meant for him.

Find the key. Find the way and triumph.

His future with Kate is bleak. The darkness, too hard to control. The key, still lost.

Can Lucas win the battle raging inside his body in order to win the war rising on the streets?

Cade committed himself to saving lives before he learned the full consequences of his life-altering decision. It wasn’t until he was tending his sick wife that he learned the enormity of what he’d done and he was unable to save her from the monster he had become. Consumed with guilt and praying for absolution, he threw himself into killing every Fallen he could find to save the humans he’d sworn to protect. But then Emma, deliciously mortal and completely forbidden, swept into his world, stirring an overpowering desire. Now he’s not only fighting soulless creatures, but also his inner cravings, trying to maintain his distance and continue on his path to forgiveness. He can’t afford to lose control again and sacrifice another love.

About the author:
RB Austin enjoys torturing dogs (dressing her Cairn terrier in knitted sweaters and booties), embarrassing her daughter (singing in car . . . at top of her lungs . . . with the windows open . . . at a stop light), and indulging in the second deadliest sin (chocolate, Swedish fish, chocolate, sour patch watermelons, and chocolate).

This author's love of the sun puts in her in the more-than-likely-not-a-vampire category, unless you're referring to the bloodsuckers in her Trihune series, then all bets are off.

The Immoral Trilogy, by Arla Dahl

Made for the author, Arla Dahl
The Mark, Book 1
Be this a witch?

In 1600’s New England, it was decreed thus: "Whoever lies with the beast will bear a mark that is insensible and in their most secret parts, and may be located only through diligent and careful search."

Accused of witchcraft, Abigail Prescott must strip for the masses and submit to the Governor’s inspection. She is ill-prepared for this shameful, grueling probe as it permits him to see and test her every inch and every hollow.

Governor Jameson Foster has examined many before, but Abigail enchants him like no other. Before he succumbs to her sweet charms, he must uncover the dark truth of this bewitching.

Should she feel his prodding and respond to his touch, her innocence will be proven. And this night he will claim her. Should she resist, fail to cry out in pain or in pleasure, then all will know she is a witch who bears The Mark.

The Accused, Book 2
Made for lucky winners of Arla Dahl's Facebook Event
There is no shame in pleasure.

“Wherefore for the sake of fulfilling their lusts (women) consort even with devils.” -Heinrich Kramer, 1486 “Malleus Maleficarum” (The Hammer of Witches)

To clear their names and save their souls the accused are stripped and bound before all as they await their governor’s examination.

At the governor’s direction, Abigail Prescott, herself accused as a witch a mere hour past, will help test the women’s responses, for a witch marked by the devil cannot feel, no matter how gently caressed, no matter how deeply probed. Under the governor’s scrutiny Abigail is to thoroughly examine their naked flesh for the black mark of the beast.

But the prideful Elizabeth Hobbs withdraws consent. And her fate is sealed. Taken deep into the forest by the watchman, she will remain naked and open to the elements to await her punishment.

Stirred by her proud tears, the watchman touches her. Soothes her. But when a man succumbs to a witch’s charms, he too stands among THE ACCUSED

The Watchman, Book 3
More prizes for Arla Dahl's Facebook Event

"For when those in authority neglect to reprove sin, then very often the good are punished with the wicked." - Heinrick Kramer, 1486  The Malleus Maleficarum

By yielding to the proud tears of an accused witch, The Watchman's soul may have been touched by evil. Now he must stand bare before the governor, and submit to a thorough and shameful examination.

Though Giles Scott would resist the touch of another man's hands, it is through complete abandon that his innocence might be proven. Since it is only the witch who cannot feel, only Giles' arousal can spare him and another from the the noose. And so, he surrenders.

Yet screams from another chamber - perhaps pained, perhaps pleasured - awaken his fears from his youth, and the governor's touch no longer teases but stings, much like the punishing bite of a whip against the flesh of The Watchman.

Oliver was broken, in body, mind, and spirit. And for the first time since he had brought him home from the hospital, Damon started questioning himself. Was he going to be enough for Oliver? A Shot at Happy, by Chris Guiton

28-year-old Drew Kelly knows exactly how to be happy. No work, no bills and no responsibilities.

And definitely no relationships.

Rather than dealing with life’s daily struggles, Drew only does what he wants, when he wants. Like volunteering at the local soup kitchen, reading for hours, and playing basketball every morning with his buddies at the sports club.

Life is good.

Or so he thinks.

When Drew meets the charming but conventional Natalie, their instantaneous connection turns his world upside down. While Drew can’t resist Natalie’s positive vibe, Natalie is inspired by Drew’s spontaneity and is liberated with every unpredictable moment spent with him. Together, they explore a depth of happiness they never thought possible….but are they willing to give up life as they know it just to make it work?

A Shot at Happy is a quirky, lighthearted love story that will not only make you laugh, but it will also make you rethink your life’s priorities, appreciate the value of your relationships, and reconsider what truly makes you happy.

But mostly, it will make you ask yourself: In the quest for happiness, should you follow your head or your heart?

The Boy Who Loved Fire, by Julie Musil

Manny O’Donnell revels in his status at the top of his high school food chain. He and his friends party in the mountains on a blustery night, sharing liquor and lame ghost stories around a campfire. The next morning, as a wild fire rages in those same mountains, Manny experiences doubt. He was the last of the drunken crew to leave the cave, and he’s uncertain if he extinguished the flames. Within hours, he becomes the number one arson suspect.

Santa Ana winds + matches = disaster. You’d think he would've learned that the first time he started a fire.

As he evades a determined arson investigator, Manny, a modern-day Scrooge, is visited by ghosts of the past, present, and future. He’s forced to witness the fate of his inadvertent victims, including Abigail, the scarred beauty who softens his heart. Manny must choose between turning around his callous, self-centered attitude, or protecting his own skin at the expense of anyone who gets in his way.

Fairytales don’t always happen once upon a time. Fables don’t always have a happy ending. Sometimes the stories we love are too dark for nightmares. What if waking Sleeping Beauty was the worse thing the Prince could have done? What if Rapunzel wasn't in that tower for her own protection—but for everyone else’s?

Assembled by The Bearded Scribe Press, Twice Upon A Time combines classics and modern lore in peculiar and spectacular ways. From Rapunzel to Rumpelstiltskin, this unique collection showcases childhood favorites unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

What's Left of Me, by Amanda Maxlyn

Life works in mysterious ways.

Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.

I refuse to cry.

And I refuse to give in.

A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants.

Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

The heartwarming conclusion to What's Left of Me:
What's Left of Us

Love found me three years ago.

I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.

Our life is complete. Perfect, really.

Or is it?

I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.

But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?

Together we must learn What’s Left of Us.
